Community Food Banks (Gerobok Rezeki Komuniti)
Updated: Jul 21, 2021
With the re-introduction of MCO 3.0 and total lockdown, individuals, community associations, organisations and businesses are coming together in full force to give out aid to those in need.
Food banks have been set up in many localities nationwide to distribute food and resources for those who have lost their savings and livelihood. These food banks are contributed and replenished by neighbourhood communities.
Some of the photos bellow illustrate the nearly whole-of-society approach to weathering through the lockdown and to curtail hunger.
