Kita Jaga Kita Banjir App

The kitajaga.co app that we highlighted back in July has activated 'Banjir mode'. The app is a decentralised peer-to-peer (P2P) charity platform that allows two users to interact directly with each other to offer or seek help.

The Banjir mode app provides the exact location of flood victims seeking help (indicated by a 'wave' icon) and samaritans offering help ('lifebuoy' icon). A 'thumbs up' icon indicates that help has been received. For transparency, other important information is also provided by the app including how much aid had been received and if persons in need are under Covid-19 quarantine.
